At a recent Security Officer training session for new and existing recruits, Brian Swann, Chairman and CEO of WC Security Services made the following opening address which we hope will tell you something about approach to security and our vision of professionalising and raising the standard of private security in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

"Welcome to something never before experienced in the Turks and Caicos Islands and thank you for taking part in this training session.

Being a security officer carries an awesome responsibility and should not be taken for granted.

The security industry in the Turks and Caicos Islands plays a very important role and is becoming even more critical in ensuring the safety and security of everyone. Security is paramount to the success of our country.

Please take away from this security training as much as you can and remember, once you

learn something it can never be taken away from you. The information and knowledge that you learn today is yours and you can use it in your everyday life, wherever you go and whatever you do.

This training is an investment in you so that you can be the very best security officers.

By improving yourselves, you will improve WC Security Services or whichever company you work for.

In doing so, you will also play a part in improving the security industry across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
